On the 11th day of Christmas
My true love gave to me
Drawer dividers — the Holy Grail of home organization.
When in doubt, go with a drawer divider. They create lanes and lanes create clarity. They tell you and your family exactly where things go. Simple and straightforward — our goal, always.
The beauty of drawer dividers is that they are expandable, creating a universal solution for **most** drawers. Before hitting ‘Add to Cart,’ know that drawer dividers do vary in material and size.
When it comes to material, drawer dividers come in plastic and wood but we always opt toward sustainable wood options — think bamboo and acacia wood.
When it comes to size, drawer dividers vary in depth and height. As far as depth, you will find shallow dividers (typically < 16 1/2″ deep) and deep dividers (typically up to 22″ deep). As far as height, you will find both short (2″ – 3″) and tall (4″ – 5″) dividers.
This is why we live and breathe by the motto Measure Twice, By Once.
The depth and height of your drawer are very important here! Once you’ve taken measurements of your drawer(s), the hard part is over. Select the perfect match below and you will be on your way to pure organization bliss.

Option 1 | 18″ – 22″ deep, 2 1/2″ high
Option 2 | 12-1/2″ to 16-1/2″ deep, 4″ high
Option 3 | 11″ to 5 3/4″ deep, 5″ high
Drawer dividers are a great solution for any drawer in the house (hand towels, kids’ drawers, coffee mugs, etc) but my absolute favorite is using them to elevate my clients’ morning routines with a coffee or tea drawer.
There is nothing more calming than starting your day with the coffee drawer of your dreams.
There you have it! It’s time to make your drawer organization dreams come true.
As always, reach out with any questions via @modernvilla__ or schedule a consult here. Christmas is one day away — see you tomorrow for Day 12!
Happy Holidays and Happy Organizing!
XO,
Courtney
