The holidays are upon us and there is no better time to organize your holiday decor and upgrade your storage than now. While we prefer ONE color storage bin for everything (ideally clear or black), we know that holiday decor requires specific holiday decor storage.
Christmas lights are most easily accessible when organized on Christmas light rods or reels. Ornaments are most easily organized with individual slots. The used-once-a-year holiday wrapping paper works best in a box made for wrapping paper.
If you’re going to invest in storage specifically for holiday decor, we recommend going with one color – green or black has our vote. As always, don’t buy storage for what you have today, buy for the future. Keep the long-term in mind.
If you’re thinking of purchasing 4 Christmas light storage bags, buy 5. Why? In the event these are discontinued. Purchasing one adhoc storage bin in the future that doesn’t match the rest would be, simply put, unacceptable.
